Tenancies generally run from 1st July to 30th June the following year (12 months) with the first two months being classed as ‘summer rent' (half-rent) “Summer Rent" is where you may move some belongings in over the summer as you vacate your previous year's accommodation (to save shipping them back to your permanent home address) but are charged only half-rent as occupancy does not normally take place until 1st September. This is to allow us as Landlords to beautify the property as needed, undertake any essential maintenance, and keep it in good condition.
