We would like to give you the chance to stay in our house when we are away which gives the chance to visit during the fantastic Edinburgh Festival (August/September), Xmas and New Year. Our house, which is in fabulous part of Edinburgh, can comfortably sleep eight people in five bedrooms (three doubles and two single). There are three bathrooms, one of which is en suite, all with a great shower and toilet, plus two have a bath. and includes all your own bathroom either ensuite or adjacent to the bedroom. The rent includes 24 hour unlimited wi fi, all bills, use of a fully fitted kitchen including large fridge freezer, electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. We are flexible regarding duration of stay, and would be happy to consider weekly or monthly rates with some variation in rent rate accordingly. there are fabulous transport links to our house, and we have a big driveway which takes two cars. The bus to the city centre stops outside our door and it takes just 30 minutes. It is also only 20 mins by bus to Heriot Watt University, 15 minutes by car to Edinburgh Airport and under an hour to Glasgow (by car or train). Our house is in a very friendly large village on the outskirts of the city, so it has a rural feel with a strong sense of community. Balerno has a small supermarket,pharmacy bank, library and 25 yard swimming pool. It is close to the Water of Leith along which you can safely cycle to the city centre in half an hour. We can also walk/run/cycle into the glorious Pentland Hills from our front door. We are a professional couple (legal and marketing) with three children - 15 year old twins (boy and girl) and a 10 year old boy. The house would be the perfect base for a family holiday to Scotland/Edinburgh or a few mature couples looking for a place to go to and from as they visit the cities/countries great sites.
