Spacious maisonette over three floors in popular Heyford Avenue, close to Vauxhall and Nine Elms stations. Suit single non-smoking professional. Quiet, large room situated on separate floor overlooking gardens to the back of house with sole use of adjacent shower room and W.C. The room has a double bed, built-in wardrobes, shelving and a desk. There is also a TV with DVD player, hairdryer and iron. Use of all kitchen facilities, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and cupboard. Wi-Fi and bills included, as well as bed linen and towels if wanted. You could leave some personal belongings over the weekend. We have a cleaner, who comes weekly. Sharing with semi-retired, professional couple ( criminal lawyer and film acting coach) who enjoy travelling, London life and entertaining friends. The occasional meal and/or glass of wine will be on offer. Previous lodgers have been very happy, one stayed for seven years! Vauxhall underground (Victoria line), railway and bus station are 10 minutes’ walk. The new Nine Elms Northern line Underground Station is 5 minutes walk and the trains are frequent and empty in the rush hour in the morning! Also Oval and Stockwell Undergrounds are close by. Lots of buses nearby including at the end of the street the no 88 and no 2 to Vauxhall and West End and beyond. We don't have any where to store bikes; however, Heyford Avenue has two cycle stores and there are two Santander Cycle stations close by. Previous lodgers have walked to work in the City and West End. Vauxhall is a vibrant area with plenty of shops, a huge Sainsburys, restaurants and bars and a beautiful park, new swimming pool/gym and local library close by. Heyford Avenue is just off main drag. see pics. £750 a month incl. of all bills; £300 deposit. Brilliant transport links, loads of restaurants : Brunswick House, Canton Arms gastro pub, Fentiman Arms, 43 Szechuan Kitchen etc. Lots of cafes. Huge Sainsburys and many smaller shops open all hours. Several Gyms and new swimming pool. Award winning local Vauxhall Park with a tennis court. New Battersea Power Station Electric Boulevard nearby. And, finally the River Thames, is a constant pleasure to walk, bike, drive over the Vauxhall Bridge with the spectacular ever-changing views along the river.
