Didcot for countrywide services to the west and the north is 15 minutes drive. Benson has a COOP, 2 pubs, a pharmacy, cafe, gift shop, post office, hairdressers, a BP garage and a McDonalds. the property itself sits right on the edge of the new country park with uninterrupted views over Oxfordshire from the front of the house. There is a large waterside cafe and restaurant down at the Marina, a 5 minute walk from the house. Wallingford is very close by (5 minutes drive, 12 minutes bike ride cross country or road) and has many more restaurants, pubs, shops and a Waitrose.
