1 room room of 37 m² in London

Hi, I'm Maggie from Southfields and am lucky enough to have lived here for more than 28 years. I live with my husband and our 2 (24 -26) adult sons and our grown up cat. Our home is a terraced Edwardian house that has been our sanctuary since we moved in over 28 years ago. Our neighbourhood is very safe and has access to many interesting things to do locally. Southfields is a lovely leafy part of London with lots of local parks and great amenities. Our home has 5 bedrooms, two of which we offer to homestay guests. There are three bathrooms two of which are exclusively for our homestay guests. One room is a double bedroom with a seating/desk/TV area. The room is located on the top floor (2nd) which is up two flights of stairs.The second double bedroom (pictures coming soon) is on the ground floor with a TV/folding table & chair/ottoman/wardrobe. Whilst Covid-19 is circulating in the community we only accept fully vaccinated guests and request to see your vaccination certificate before confirming bookings, we encourage all members of the household to conduct lateral flow testing if cold/flu symptoms are detected . This is a health safety measure that all members of the household are encouraged to follow .There is a pretty garden, which can be used by guests when the weather is fine. It is strictly a non-smoking house (but smoking is allowed in the garden).Parking is available (but not included) on the street outside the house. Resident parking permits are available from Wandsworth Council.We are a relaxed family and prior to the pandemic we enjoyed hosting international English language students, and enjoy meeting people from different cultures. I volunteers at a local Wetland and Water fowl sanctuary - we like to do our bit to encourage biodiversity and engaging with the 'green agenda'.All utility bills are included (electricity, gas, water, broadband and council tax). Meals also can be provided by arrangement if wished.Our family composition is Mum, Dad (both early retirees - professional - one former NHS health professional - Director of Therapies - and the other former Senior Teacher) and our adult sons who work locally.We have a cat Minerva (a girl), she is very nice but a little shy.
