In terms of vying for attention, the twin bedroom jostles to the front with its striking, burnt umber interiors and intriguing wall hangings. Not to mention that rather irresistibly cushy-looking beds, perfect for a few film nights in. And speaking of film, we think the set design Oscar should go to the dining room. Opening onto the garden and boasting a beautifully canopied ceiling, draped in elegant white folds that magnify the light pouring through the glass — you couldn’t ask for a more ambient spot. Throw in an airy kitchen, complete with breakfast bar, patio doors, and bonus snug area, and you may find eating out starts to lose its appeal. The principal bedroom boasts ample space, a sunshine-yellow ensuite, and a peppering of personality (that ostentatiously high-backed chair being our favourite); whilst the single room is smaller, but delightfully cosy and serenely mellow in yellow.
