Old Victorian house in a quiet residential area within walking distance to the local town centre (through a couple of parks and along the canal if you like the scenic route!) where there are community gardens to have a chat in / volunteer at, all the shops you need and a lot more you don't! Closer to home is a new bougie wine bar at the bottom of the main road, a few takeaway places, 3 newsagents and a local grocery shop. Good transport links into Liverpool city centre (about 30 mins on the bus).
