Bus 388 stop direction London Bridge is opposite the front door, the return stop + 26 bus is 200yards on Cassland Road behind the flat. The 30 and 26 bus run on Wick Road. Homerton station on the Mildmay Line is 10 mins walk, Hkney Wick is about 15 mins walk. Buses 277 & 425 run from Lauriston Road to Mile End Tube station to access Central and District Line. Bow Church on the DLR is about 25mins walk. If you feel energetic enough after a day's work, a jog in the park is the easiest thing to do. There is a very active running club - the Victoria Park Harriers as well as a well equipped Pilates Studio 2 mins away.
