Important: My flat has recently been granted a short term let license and the relevant planning permission to operate legally as a holiday rental. Both these things are a legal requirement for holiday lets such as mine and very few in Edinburgh have been granted them to date. If you book somewhere in Edinburgh, please ensure they are legal to operate or you may find they are forced by the authorities to cease trading with immediate effect and you run the very real risk of your booking being cancelled. Further to this, if they do continue to trade without the legal requirements you will not be covered by any insurance should you require this during your stay.
