Brunswick Square was designed by renowned architect Charles Augustin Busby in the 1820’s, wishing the area to become a mini town catering for the wealthy upper and middle classes to rival the Kemp Town development to the east of Brighton. The facades of the elegant houses were decorated in the popular neo-classical style, changing with the different roof levels on rising ground but providing a unified theme which remains unchanged to this day. The original houses included the then new technologies such a piped water supplies and internal flushable water closets. Brunswick Square looks down to the sea over Hove lawns, described as one of the most famous swathes of turf in the county. In 1830 an act was passed that no building be erected south of Brunswick Terrace other that fencing and street lights. As popular as ever the Hove lawns are one of the most endearing features of the area providing a leisure area for local residents and visitors alike. The lawns host numerous events and festivals throughout the year. * A holding deposit of £530 is payable to secure this property * A damage deposit of £2653 will be payable, along with the first rent payment, prior to moving in
