It's less than 1 minute from Kings Road, but the flat itself is quiet and calm. It's semi-basement level, which means that you have a small private patio, then walk up a few steps to the main garden area.Windows only face onto the patio and garden - no windows fact the street. This keeps it very quiet, despite its very central, safe, and convenient location. Windows ONLY in the living room - floor-to-ceiling French windows - and the bathroom (smaller tinted windows for privacy). Lots of lighting in the bedroom and large, modern kitchen, but no windows there. This is why the price for this flat is significantly lower than other rentals in this ultra-premium part of London, so if you are concerned about lack of windows in the bedroom or kitchen, or the fact that it's semi-basement level and faces onto a small private patio, where you can have lovely plants, and that it requires steps up to access the communal gardens, then this is not the flat for you. We lived here 20 years, and one of us worked from the living room the whole time, so it was never a problem for us.Ideal for couples or single professionals. In the back, this means the patio is just below the level of the building's main communal gardens, but it gets lots of natural sunlight in the living room, bathroom and patio.
