Chelsea Manor Street, London, SW3 1 bed flat to rent - £2,375 pcm (£548 pw)

Property Reference: .Smart one-bedroom apartment, just off Kings Road in Chelsea. Newly renovated bathroom.- OUTSTANDING LOCATIONThis is one of the smartest areas of London. Very safe, with everything you want on your doorstep as it's right by the famous Kings Road. Shops, restaurants, nightlife - all within skipping distance of the flat.- QUIET ON THE LOWER LEVELIt's semi-basement level, and all windows look out only onto a small patio (yours to use) and communal gardens. Despite being so central, it's very quiet.NOTE: Windows are in the living room and bathroom only. The bedroom and kitchen have ventilation, but no windows.- VALUE FOR MONEYBecause it's semi-basement level, the flat is much cheaper than others of an equivalent size and standard in this prime area. Plus, heating and hot water are included in the price.- DOORMAN/PORTERThere's a weekday doorman, who can accept parcels for you.- NEWLY RENOVATEDThe bathroom is brand new, and other parts are also newly renovated, such as the new hob (stovetop) in the kitchen. Hardwood and tiled floors throughout.- SUPERFAST WIFIWe worked from the flat, full-time, for a decade. Superfast fibre wifi is available, making Remote Work lovely, esp if you put your desk by the full-height patio doors.- PETSCATS ALLOWED (max of 2) - but not dogs. Dogs and other pets are banned by the building, so no matter how small and cute yours is, we can't allow them. Wish we could! So please don't ask us to allow your dogs. We can't override our building's rules on this.See more details below.DETAILSThe flat is on the lower ground floor of a private Art Deco apartment building with a weekday porter. It's less than 1 minute from Kings Road, but the flat itself is quiet and calm. It's semi-basement level, which means that you have a small private patio, then walk up a few steps to the main garden area.Windows only face onto the patio and garden - no windows fact the street. This keeps it very quiet, despite its very central, safe, and convenient location. Windows ONLY in the living room - floor-to-ceiling French windows - and the bathroom (smaller tinted windows for privacy). Lots of lighting in the bedroom and large, modern kitchen, but no windows there. This is why the price for this flat is significantly lower than other rentals in this ultra-premium part of London, so if you are concerned about lack of windows in the bedroom or kitchen, or the fact that it's semi-basement level and faces onto a small private patio, where you can have lovely plants, and that it requires steps up to access the communal gardens, then this is not the flat for you. We lived here 20 years, and one of us worked from the living room the whole time, so it was never a problem for us.Ideal for couples or single professionals. Because there is only one large bed in the bedroom, the flat is not suitable for friends or siblings as there isn't space for twin beds.LOCATIONOur apartment building is only 50 steps from the clothes and food shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, museums and sights of Kings Road, Chelsea. The large Kings Road Waitrose is 2 minutes walk from the flat, and M&S and Boots are both about 5 minutes walk. Our apartment is very quiet because the windows all look out onto a small private patio and a (slightly overgrown!) communal garden. It's a Lower Ground Floor flat, which means it's sort of halfway below street level. That's one reason it's quiet - no noise from the street. In the back, this means the patio is just below the level of the building's main communal gardens, but it gets lots of natural sunlight in the living room, bathroom and patio. INTERIORS41 square metres (444 square feet)The kitchen is very large by central London standards, and especially for a flat of this size, with a new induction hob, sleek stainless steel counters, heaps of storage space, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and a washing machine. It has hardwood floors with underfloor heating in the living room and bedroom, and tiled floors in the kitchen, bathroom and entry hall. There's a two-seater sofa and a new armchair in the living room. There's a small alcove with a two-person table in the kitchen, and plenty of space in the living room for a desk.Brand new and powerful shower. The entire bathroom has been newly renovated, with completely new tiles, floors, shower, sink, loo, fixtures and fittings.Warm water underfloor heating is in the living room and bedroom, and radiator heating in the bathroom. Due to very thick walls, the flat has great insulation, which means it tends to stay warm in winter and cool in summer, more so than a typical central London flat.INTERNETSuperfast Fibre Wifi is available, ideal for working, streaming movies and gaming.A thermostat in the bedroom helps you keep the flat to the temperature you like.Wall-hung TV in the living room.NEARBYHeaps of pubs, restaurants, etc, including The Coopers Arms pub on Flood Street and the Builders Arms on Britten Street - both less than 5 minutes from the apartment.Charles Dickens got married at the huge, beautiful St Luke's Church at the end of our street, and the gardens are gorgeous and ideal for picnics, just 1 minute from the flat.Lots of great coffee shops, clothing shops, cafes and restaurants on Kings Road.TRANSPORTBuses - several bus stops within 2 minutes walk of the flatSouth Kensington Tube Station - 8-10 minutes walkSloane Square Tube Station - 12-minute walk or 3-minute bus rideBILLSNote that heating and hot water are included in the rent. But you will be responsible for all other bills, including council tax, electricity, internet, telephone, and water.PETSCATS ONLY!Cats allowed (max of 2), but NO DOGS (building policy, not ours). If you try to sneak in a dog, the neighbours will complain, and you'll have to give the dog up. We don't want that to happen to anyone, and it's happened to many other residents in the building, so we can't change this rule.Well-behaved cats aren't a problem, and they can access a fairly well protected communal garden. However, the garden does open up at one end with a gate that a cat can get through, so it's not a fully enclosed garden.INCOME REQUIREMENTSTenants need to have a minimum income (sole or joint) of £86,000. Without that, either a UK-based guarantor will be required who can prove annual income or savings of £ more, or you will need to pay for an independent UK guarantor service. It is not possible to provide six months payment in advance as an alternative solution. Note that all financials will be checked before a lease is granted, including tax returns, bank statements, and credit checks.BILLS INCLUSIVE OPTION: £2,690 per monthIf you'd prefer to pay the rent with bills included, that's fine. We can do that, and it might make it easier for you. However, it does increase the price to cover the cost of bills. The price WITH BILLS is £2,690 per month. That includes council tax, water, electricity (there's no gas), hot water, and high-speed internet. You'd still need to pay for anything extra you'd like, such as streaming services or cable.Summary & Exclusions:- Rent Amount: £ per month (£548.08 per week)- Deposit / Bond: £- 1 Bedrooms- 1 Bathrooms- Property comes furnished or unfurnished (tenant can decide)- Available to move in from 08 August 2026- Maximum number of tenants is 1- Students welcome to enquire- No Pets, sorry- No Smokers- Not Suitable for Families / Children- Bills not included- No Parking Available- Property has garden access- EPC Rating: C If calling, please quote reference: Fees:You will not be charged any admin fees. *
