We have a selection of maps, guides, books and DVDs for your use and Wi-Fi (with a strong reliable signal) is also available free of charge together with IPOD docking and CD player. Of course all heating, bed linen, towels and cleaning etc are also included in the price quoted. (No further charges) We provide everything you will need so there's no need to go shopping for the basics like, soap, kitchen roll, etc. We have decided to let out our apartment to a maximum of 2 guests to ensure the best possible experience. We have therefore been able to provide a comfortable quality sofa in the living room as a sofa bed is not required. We have furnished the apartment carefully, choosing stylish quality furnishings for an enjoyable stay for our guests. The apartment is heated throughout and is lovely and warm.AccessAs the apartment is on the ground floor there are no accessibility problems for the infirm. We also provide a 'meet and greet' service at no extra charge to ensure you have gained access to the apartment and to answer any questions you may have.All the main tourist attractions are within walking distance and Edinburgh has a fantastic regular bus service if you want to go further. ArrivalIf you are flying to Edinburgh airport, you can take a taxi for £25 to £30 to the apartment. If coming by train, the Edinburgh Waverley train station is just 1 mile away. Free onsite private parking.Check in/check out timesThe general check in time is 3pm but we are quite flexible so just ask if you want to arrive earlier and we can try to arrange that.Check out time is normally 11am but again if you need to stay a bit longer we can sometimes accommodate this. The bus stop at Abbeyhill beside the Palace is just a few minutes walk from the apartment. You can start and finish your journey at any of the 11 stops and use your ticket for 24 hours. The buses are regular and you can hop on and off as often as you wish.
