With a porter on duty to help with your bags, and the presence of an elevator, accessing this apartment from street level will be easy. And once inside, you're sure to delight in the simple elegance of the traditional furnishings that grace each of the apartment's rooms: THE LIVING ROOM Accessed via the door at the end of the entrance hall, here's a space with twin sofas and twin armchairs to choose between. Which will be your favourite place to sit during your stay? Perhaps the sofa by the large window will be your preference when you want to sit and read? While the sofa opposite the decorative fireplace could be your favourite when you're sitting and watching the television that nestles in the corner of the room. THE KITCHEN & DINING AREA Entering direct from the living room, you will find a kitchen with all the appliances you're likely to need to self-cater in London. Oven, stovetop, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave - they're all here and all yours, set within a modern kitchen with plenty of cabinet space to store foods and quality countertops on which to prepare delicious snacks and meals. And you won't have far to carry your plates, as there's a dining table and chairs in the room at which you can sit and enjoy your culinary creations. THE LOCAL AREA Welcome to Cranmer Court, a popular residential block with a porter service located midway between the King's Road to the south and Fulham Road to the north. If you want to experience central London living at its best, this is the place to do it. It's in a quiet location close to many of London's most popular attractions, and with easy access to London's business districts. So whether you're visiting for pleasure, leisure, or to work, staying here is a great choice. A small selection of nearby places you may wish to investigate further include: Chelsea Green - a delightful, picturesque area surrounded by small shops Brompton Cross - more shops here, including big names such as Conran, Stella McCartney, Chanel, and Joseph. It's about a 6 minute walk from the apartment. The Royal Court Theatre - although London's Theatreland is a little further east, Sloane Square has its own theatre much nearer the apartment, so you might want to catch a performance here. The Museums - just north of the apartment on the Cromwell Road are a trio of museums, including The Science Museum, Natural History Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum. GETTING AROUND Plenty of London's attractions are within easy walking distance of the apartment. If you want to get around using pedal power, there are bike pick up points for the London Bike Hire Scheme near to the apartments. Spend any time exploring the streets around the apartment and you'll soon see they are well served by black taxis and red buses, both of which can help you get around London. As far as the London Underground goes, it's an 8 min walk east to Sloane Square tube station which is served by District and Circle Line trains. These will connect you with places like Paddington, Notting Hill and the City of London. South Kensington station is just a little further away in the opposite direction (west). It's also on the District and Circle Lines, and has the added bonus of Piccadilly Line trains stopping there. These can connect you to places such as Heathrow Airport, Leicester Square and Covent Garden. Staying here also puts you within about 10-15 mins of the multi-format transport hub at Victoria. London Underground, rail network, buses, and coaches all stop here, so there's a huge variety of places across Southern England and further afield you can reach from here.
