Location Located in the city centre near Woodhouse, the house is just a 5-minute walk from the University of Leeds, a 2-minute walk to the nearest bus stop, and around 10 minutes from Morrisons. There is an everyday essentials store literally across the street, making quick errands extremely convenient. An NHS health centre is also just down the road. There are two parks just a one-minute walk away, making this a great location if you enjoy spending time outdoors or need an easy spot to take your pet for a walk. Location-wise, it is excellent. Compared to similar properties in the city centre or Headingley, the rent is around £100 cheaper and includes all bills except electricity. Even when electricity is included, the overall cost remains significantly lower since the bill is split between three people. Why we are leaving We are only moving out because our visas are expiring and we have to leave the UK. Otherwise, we would have happily stayed, as the location and overall value are genuinely great. The space The house has a spacious kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, washer-dryer, and a large fridge suitable for three people. The living area includes comfortable sofas and a large blank wall, which is perfect for using a projector if you are into that. The house gets good natural sunlight for most of the year, making the space feel bright and pleasant. We are also leaving behind a WiFi internet repeater that significantly improves coverage throughout the house. The signal was weak when we first moved in, and this completely fixed the issue. Overall The cost-to-value ratio is what initially drew us to this house, along with how incredibly close it is to the university. It is practical, well-located, and comfortable, making it ideal for students or professionals who want to stay central without paying inflated rent.
