The Royal Docks is a quiet residential area steeped in London history, where merchant ships docked in the heyday of the English Empire and where the ‘Mayflower’ embarked for its famous voyage to America in 1620, approximately 800 yards from the apartment. Today the characteristic old warehouses have been transformed to designer apartments, surrounded by supermarkets, excellent restaurants, cafés and boutiques.During your stay at the Thames Riverfront, enjoy fresh walks around the numerous canals of the famous Docklands and the City areas discovering London’s old shipping/finance history. Reinvent yourself and unwind in East End’s diverse street markets and leisure spots that are full of shopping and culinary surprises!
