There is a wonderful freestanding copper bath next to the bed as well as a separate modernist shower room. Things in the Red Room are not what they seem - a chest of drawers becomes a staircase to a secret cupboard. A floor to ceiling mirror is the door to a polished plaster bathroom. A collection of cupboards and tables conceals an extraordinary Parisian kitchen. The Red Room challenges preconceptions of what is possible. It is a fantastical space like no other in the heart of old London.
