It's a great area to go out as it offers great entertainment but at the same time it's very residential and quiet. It's home to some of London's best restaurants and bars which are just at walking distance from the flat. It's also a friendly, safe neighbourhood and very convenient for travel all around London.Getting aroundClosest tube is Westbourne Park on the Circle Line - 4/5 minutes walking distance to the flat - while Notting Hill Gate is about 12 minutes away. Westbourne Park is on the same tube line as Paddington and King's Cross so getting to the Eurostar, Heathrow Express and Soho/Oxford Street is very easy. Loads of buses stop nearby 31 (Camden, Primrose Hill), 328, 52 (Royal Albert Hall), 70 (Kensington, V&A Museum), 23 (Piccadilly, Aldwych). Number 7 bus stops a few meters from the the flat and goes to Paddington, Oxford Street and the British Museum.Other things to noteThe flat is very quiet, especially the bedroom which faces a private garden. However the house is early 1900 so not well soundproofed. Please be respectful when watching films or listening to music as the noise can travel. The neighbors will do the same.
