As we want to terminate our tenancy early, building management said that they’ll allow it if we find our own replacements. • You’ll be set up on a new 1-year tenancy (I believe the Renters’ Rights Bill will come into force from 1 May 2026, which allows you to terminate a tenancy with 2 months’ notice so you may be able to do a shorter tenancy) • All referencing and contracts are handled by building management • We’ll arrange a professional end-of-tenancy clean, and GreenGate will carry out their own inspection to make sure everything is in top fresh condition — any issues come out of our current deposit.
