We’re looking for a non-smoking professional lodger for a large double ensuite room in our recently renovated detached home, located on Scotland Bridge Road, close to West Byfleet station. The Room: Large double ensuite (private bathroom) Fully furnished: double bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinets Lockable bedroom and ensuite doors for privacy Kettle, microwave & toaster in the room (largely self-contained) All bills and broadband included and can use the washing machine and dryer in the main kitchen area. Cleaner comes once every 2 weeks. House Setup: Not a kitchen-sharing arrangement, though use of washing machine and tumble dryer is included. External security cameras and one internal camera in the main kitchen (used only to check on our dogs; no cameras in private areas) Off-street parking available, plus on-street parking nearby The Household: Calm, tidy home - not a social houseshare No smoking and no overnight guests Occasional estate-agent viewings will take place (with notice) Charlotte (31, English) is the homeowner. Her partner (32, originally from Singapore) also lives with her in the same room. We have two friendly French bulldogs and generally keep to ourselves. This would suit someone who works regularly, values a peaceful home, and needs a comfortable short-term place to stay while they focus on work. This is a short-term lodger arrangement, as the property will be placed on the market. The expected stay is 3–6 months, although we accept shorter stays, or longer stays depending on how quickly the house sells, so flexibility is essential.
