Stay at this typical Victorian house in a multicultural street in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Convenient location with all amenities nearby. Ideal for touring historical Greenwich, with easy access by train to Central London, Westminster, Docklands and City. The fabulous O2 Arena is within 15 minutes drive. Thames Boats pier in nearby Woolwich with river tours of famous landmarks. The house sleeps up to 8 people. Family friendly with board games and books. Baby's cot available.The house is furnished in a traditional manner. There is a living room with dining area, a conservatory/activities room and a patio garden. There is a large kitchen with all modern facilities, including washing machine, dryer, cooker, Foreman grill, microwave, toaster, kettle, full set of cooking utensils and crockery. You can help yourself to complimentary tea/coffee. The house has central heating, so it is cosy and warm during colder months. It does not get too warm during the summer. Three bedrooms are upstairs. One bedroom is downstairs with door to the garden. The rooms are all moderate size (12 sq metres approx). All have a double bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, storage. Bedlinen and towels are supplied. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor and a separate toilet. A baby's cot is available. We have a selection of board games, books and some toys too. There is a walled patio garden with flower beds and fruit trees, patio furniture and barbeque set. Outdoor Pir light. Smoking allowed in the garden only. Fire bucket available.There is free parking in front of the house and nearby streets. There are local shops within 2-3 minutes walk, including supermarket, international food store, cafes, takeaway food shops, pharmacy, fruit and vegetable store, hairdressers, health clinic, dentist, and lots of green spaces in the vicinity. Ten minutes walk to the leisure centre and Thames Foot Tunnel and Riverfront Walkway, with access to 180 mile Eco-trail along the Thames Pathway. The house is within 10 minutes walk to the new Elizabeth Line Crossrail, National Railway stations and Docklands Light Railway into all regions of the City of London, and there are numerous bus routes into central London and the Kent and Surrey countryside. There is also a boat service which takes you to all the famous places along the River Thames, such as the London Eye, Tower of London and Houses of Parliament.10-15 minutes drive to the fabulous O2 Arena (formerly Millennium Dome), where you can enjoy the entertainment lounge, top restaurants, cinema, music and dance shows, shopping, exhibitions and other special events. You can zip across the Thames in the Emirates Airline.I do not live at the house, but I'm available any time to answer any questions about the area and amenities, transport or London attractions.This is a very convenient location with excellent transport links. Ten minutes walk to the new Elizabeth Line Crossrail. There is a huge variety of shops and leisure activities in the area. plenty of green spaces, with parks and playing fields. Very close to the Thames River boats and walkway. The town is close to historical Greenwich, with world famous sites, such as the Royal Observatory, Queens House and Greenwich Park. This is a very interesting place to live, where you will see nationalities from around the globe, and enjoy international foods, as well as traditional English fayre.There is free parking in front of the house and neighbouring streets. Lots of bus routes into Greenwich, the City and Central London. National Rail, Crossrail and Dlr within 10 minutes walk. A fair amount of green spaces in the vicinity, with Plumstead Common and Winns Common at the top of the road. Uber taxis and independent taxis available to book.Your host will be available to answer any questions you have and give you information about all the interesting things you can do and see in London. The rooms are ideal for long or short stays. Great for tourism, education or business trip.
